Moving On Up provides training and personal development day service opportunities to young people and adults with a learning disability in the Western Trust area. Students come to the centre from Limavady, Dungiven, Claudy, Magilligan and Bellaghy. The organisation offers personal care alongside training to encourage and promote independent living skills and social inclusion in various ways such as cooking, baking, crafting, up-cycling, household skills, and event planning. They also provide a social evening weekly to support young people and adults with a learning disability to feel and be socially included. Alongside this, Moving On Up offers training, support through respite, advice and advocacy to parents, family members and carers.
